Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri wins big at the Golden Globes
There were a lot of Harvey Weinstein jokes, there were many black dresses and tuxedos and there were lots of great artist being nominated last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Led by the amazing (and first time host), Seth Meyers the Golden Globe awards were handed out to the winners in the film and TV categories, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Big Little Lies swept the floor with most golden statues in each of the two different categories.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri grabbed 4 Golden Globes including Best leading actress in a drama (Frances McDormand), best supporting actor (Sam Rockwell), best original screenplay, (Martin McDonagh) and best motion picture drama film.
Oprah Winfrey was announced as Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award honoree on December 13, 2017, while Gary Oldman won his first Golden Globe in his entire career, spanning more than 40 years.
