Mila and Kate are on a mission in The Spy Who Dumped Me
Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon, Sam Heughan and Justin Theroux all in one movie? What could be better than this? Adding Hasan Minhaj, Gillian Anderson to the cast of course.
Well, that’s the case with The Spy Who Dumped Me, the action comedy with not just two actresses in the leads, but a female director behind the camera. The Spy Who Dumped Me arrives in theaters this August, but for now, feasts your eyes on the first trailer for the Susanna Fogel co-written and directed movie.
Best friends Audrey (Mila Kunis) and Morgan (Kate McKinnon) will get involved in an undercover mission after Audrey’s unassuming ex-boyfriend shows up at their apartment with a team of deadly assassins on his trail. The ex boyfriend is played by the newly single Justin Theroux, and I actually love the trailer.
Based on the trailer, this movie actually sounds promising, and I’m not just saying that because I adore Kate and think she will elevate every God damn movie that she’s in. Just so you know….
According to Deadline, The film was originally scheduled to be released on July 6, 2018, but, after “a phenomenal test screening”, it was pushed back a month to August 3, 2018.
