Evangeline Lilly is officially the Wasp
Evangeline Lilly was fantastic in 2015’s Ant Man, but she is yet to repeat the role in the upcoming Marvel sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp.
The Canadian actress shared the first official photo from her character Hope van Dyne / Wasp and from that photo you can plainly see the new hairdo and specifically the suit that the Wasp will be sporting in the movie.

Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) now a changed man (in Ant-Man and the Wasp) will attempt to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man. However it won’t take long for Hope van Dyne and Hank Pym to present him with a new mission. One that requires for him to team up with van Dyne as the new Wasp.

Bobby Cannavale will be back as Paxton, a San Francisco Police Department officer who is engaged to Lang’s ex-wife Maggie. Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian will be returning in the roles that they played In Ant Man and so will Michael Douglas in the role of Hank Pym. Michelle Pfeiffer is the newest addition to the cast, and she will be playing Janet van Dyne. The wife of Pym and mother of Hope, who as the original Wasp was lost in the Quantum Realm during a mission with Pym.
Peyton Reed is back in the directorial chair for Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp, and the movie opens on July 6, 2016.
