Liam Neeson is The Man Who Brought Down the White House
The younger generations have never heard of Mark Felt, but almost everyone has heard of his alias. Deep Throat.
Well, Liam Neeson is portraying Mark Felt in the biographical spy thriller, and the first trailer is officially published. The film is based on the true events about an FBI agent, Mark Felt, who became an anonymous source (“Deep Throat”) for reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, and helped them in the investigation which led them to the Watergate scandal.
Diane Lane is portraying Audrey Felt, the brilliant and troubled wife who shares the burden of Felt’s dangerous struggle against the White House’s Watergate scandal, while in the other supporting roles are actors like Tony Goldwyn, Maika Monroe, Kate Walsh, Josh Lucas, Michael C. Hall, Tom Sizemore…
Back in May, Sony Pictures Classics acquired U.S. distribution rights to the film. The Man Who Brought Down the White House is scheduled to be screened in the Special Presentations section at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival.
