Another month and another list of awesome movies that you shouldn’t miss. 7  is the number and eclectic is my pick for October. Yes, October is the month in which the studios are showing of with their Award winning contenders, but October is the month of Halloween.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the first Halloween movie, there is another one coming out in theaters. Set 40 years after the original film, the plot follows Laurie Strode as she comes face-to-face with Michael Myers for a final showdown on Halloween night.

So, horror movies, superhero movies and biopic dramas that are strong Oscar contenders. Yeah, October is going to be a good month.
