Sigourney Weaver stars in Neil Blomkamp’s Short Film Rakka: Watch it now!
Neill Blomkamp is a man with a mission. The S. African born director recently created Oats Studios.
A production studio that will release experimental short sci-fi films (written directed and produced by him) with the hopes that some will catch on and become viral hits. After the exposure to the audience, the short films are supposed to get him the finances to create much larger motion pictures, but first of those short films is Rakka.
Starring Dakota Fanning and Sigourney Weaver, Rakka is available to view for free on Steam and YouTube. The short film directed by Blomkamp and co-written by him (along with ) is a tale of a dystopian future where an unknown alien group have colonized the earth and humans struggle to fight back.
Rakka is 21.52 minutes long movie, and can be seen entirely on Youtube’s Oats Studios channel or on Steam.
