Keanu Reeves is obsessed with life and death in Replicas
Admittedly Kianu Reeves was pretty much awesome in this year’s John Wick- Chapter 2 and in Netflix’s anorexia drama, To The Bone.
But are you ready fir his latest film project? Replicas is the name of the SF thriller directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and in it Keanu is Will Foster. A father and husband, who after the death of his family members will become obsessed with bringing them back from the dead. Even if it means going against a government controlled laboratory, the police and the laws of physics.
Alice Eve, Thomas Middleditch, John Ortiz, Emily Ayn Lind are also in the cast of Replicas, and the movie premiered at the Toronto film festival last month.
Official synopsis for Replicas:
In this sci-fi thriller, neuro-scientist William Foster is on the verge of successfully transferring human consciousness into a computer when his family is tragically killed in a car crash. Desperate to resurrect them, William recruits fellow scientist Ed Whittle to help him secretly clone their bodies and create replicas. But he soon faces a “Sophie’s choice” when it turns out that they can only bring three of the four family members back to life.
The premiere date for Replicas is yet to be announced, but it’s expected to arrive to theaters sometimes next year.
