October is here. Yaaaaaaay!!! Well it’s a month of Halloween movies, pumpkins and roasting chestnuts, but it’s also a movie with great movie releases.

The highly anticipated Blade Runner sequel is upon us, and so are some great biopic movies that should definitely shake up the Oscar race. Because we all know how much Hollywood loves real life inspiring stories. Marshall, Breathe, Only the brave and Goodbye Christopher Robin to name a few.

So… who are the great movies that ate set for premieres this month?

Blade Runner 2049

Director: Denis Villeneuve
Stars: Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas…

Fun fact about the movie: Jared Leto was introduced to Denis Villeneuve by his close friend Jean-Marc Vallée, who had directed Leto in Dallas Buyers Club (2013).

The Mountain Between Us

Fun fact about the movie: Production was delayed a few days so Kate Winslet could attend a memorial service for Alan Rickman.

The Florida Project

Fun fact about the movie: Willem DeFoe spent a week living in the filming area before production in order to immerse himself in the life of the characters & master the nuances of the regional dialect.
