Hugh Jackman is The Greatest Showman in the movie’s first trailer

Hugh Jackman was already wonderful in 2012’s Les Misérables. The Aussie actor earned his first Academy Award nomination for playing the role of Jean Valjean, but at the end of this year the actor is returning to musicals with his latest project. The Greatest Showman.

In Michael Gracey’s directorial debut, Hugh is playing P. T. Barnum. The founder of the circus that became the famous traveling Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, Keala Settle, Zendaya make the female part of the cast, while Zac Efron, Paul Sparks and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are part of the male cast.

Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon were in charge of the script of The Greatest Showman.

Jackman is joined by Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams, Zendaya, Zac Efron and Rebecca Ferguson.
