Hey it’s Friday! Let’s watch a bunch of movie trailers!

Let’s try something new, shall we? We (the film nuts) were graced this week with a lot of great trailers. And I mean a loooooooot.

There was first trailer for the upcoming Tomb Rider reboot, the trailer for Todd Haynes’s Wonderstruck, Mellissa McCarthy’s mockumentary Cook off and of course the second official trailer for Kenneth Branagh’s star studded film adaptation of ‘Murder on the Orient Express. Just to name a few 😉

But those were just a few… What about the rest? I told you there were a lot of published trailers this week. So in honor of them all, let’s start a Friday segment here on Filmsane called Hey it’s Friday! Watch a bunch of movie trailers.

But hey….Don’t say I didn’t warn you in advance, you know… about the amount of video material, and if you have oooohh let’s say about 30 minutes to spare, you should definitely scroll down this post.

Fun fact about the movie: Liam Neeson and Sam Neill are both Irish actors and were both contenders for the role of James Bond in GoldenEye (1995), which eventually went to fellow Irish actor Pierce Brosnan. Neill was also considered for Bond in The Living Daylights (1987). Additionally, both actors starred in a Steven Spielberg film in 1993 (Schindler’s List (1993) and Jurassic Park (1993).

The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)

Wonderstruck

Fun fact about the movie: The film reunites director Todd Haynes with Julianne Moore. This is their fourth collaboration after Safe (1995), Far from Heaven (2002), and I’m Not There. (2007). Moore’s performance in “Far From Heaven” earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.

Cook-Off!
