7 Of Tom Hardy’s Most Underrated Movies Ever!

Share:

All right now. Tom Hardy is back in theaters this month. In fact he’s back this week and with another super-hero movie.

Yeah, Venom is the name and is intended to be the first film in Sony’s Marvel Universe, adjunct to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, and Kelly Marcel, and stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, alongside Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott.

Jenny Slate, Woody Harrelson, Sope Aluko, Scott Deckert, Marcella Bragio, Michelle Lee, Mac Brandt, Christian Convery, Sam Medina, and Ron Cephas Jones have also been cast in undisclosed roles, and I can hardly wait for this movie to be released.

Why? Because Venom is one of the coolest anti-heroes ever written and of course the movie includes 2 Academy Award winners.

Tom Hardy (Eddie Brock/Venom) had played the supervillain Bane in The Dark Knight Rises (2012), but in the comics, Bane ingested a serum named Venom to gain super strength. How cool is that?

But while we wait for the movie to be released, let’s look back at the career of Tom Hardy. He’s played heroes, criminals, spies, serial killers and of course Max Rockatansky. But I want to shine a light on some of his most underrated movie. You know the ones that are good and potentially awesome but very few has heard about them, the moves underperformed at the box office, or they’ve gained a cult status because of all of those things.

No, I’m not talking about Star Trek: Nemesis although it’s a project that’s in his career beginnings. No, I’ve picked 7 of his best and underrated movies that I feel deserve to be paid special attention.
