Dunkirk teaser spots will bring the war closer
Christopher Nolan is headed to the theaters after 3 year absence (or since 2014 Interstellar) with a new film. Dunkirk.
A cinematic tale of 400,000 British and Allied troops who were surrounded by the enemy on the beaches of Dunkirk during WWII, and later evacuated in Operation Dynamo. Like in his previous film, Dunkirk is also a family effort for Nolan, with his younger brother Jonathan Nolan penning the script, and him and his wife Emma Thomas producing the film.
Frequent collaborators of Christopher Nolan can be found again in front and in the back if the camera, including director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, editor Lee Smith and Hans Zimmer appointed once more in the music score department.
Dunkirk stars Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden, Harry Styles, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance, Tom Hardy, and will arrive in theaters on 21 July 2017 and on IMAX, 70 mm and 35 mm film. While we anticipate the release of the movie, let’s check out the new teaser spots for Dunkirk courtesy of Dunkirk/IGN and Warner Bros.
The official synopsis for Dunkirk:
“Dunkirk” opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.
