Natalie Portman teases us with the first trailer for Annihilation
Barely out of her latest Academy Award nomination for Jackie, Natalie Portman presents her latest film project Annihilation. Written and directed by Alex Garland, Annihilation is a story of Lena (Portman) and her mission.
A biologist that accepts to lead an expedition into an environmental disaster zone after he husband (played by Oscar Isaac) disappears. Quickly into the expedition, Lena understands that some things are not what she was expecting. Jennifer Jason Leigh is also part of the cast (as the psychologist), and so are Gina Rodriguez and Tessa Thompson.
The SF thriller by the acclaimed director is actually a film adaptation of the book by the same name by Jeff VanderMeer, and this movie marks the second collaboration between Garland and Oscar Isaac/Sonoya Mizuno (the first one was Ex Machina).
The film is scheduled to be released on February 23, 2018, but for now check out the first trailer.
