Holly crap! Kobe Bryant just won an Oscar
You’ve probably heard of this man ladies and gents. Probably one of the greatest athletes in history, and one of the most brilliant basketball players ever. Yup. I’m talking about Kobe Bryant.
Well he just won an Academy award. Oh yes. Glen Keane and Kobe Bryant both grabbed an Oscar in the Best Animated Short Film category, for their 5 minute long project Dear Basketball.
Written and narrated by Kobe Bryant and directed by Glen Keane, the film is based on a letter Kobe Bryant wrote to The Players’ Tribune on November 29, 2015 announcing his retirement from basketball.
Congats Kobe on your Oscar. Gary Oldman… You’re next.
