Revisiting Heath Ledger’s best movies (10 years after his death)

It’s a sad day for every true fan of Heath Ledger. The Australian actor died on this day 10 years ago from accidental prescription drug intoxication. He was 28 year years old, and was not just a young son, brother, father, but an actor at his prime.

He already established himself as a talented and versatile actor, in the decade prior his death, but his two movies right before his untimely death brought him the much deserved accolades and praise from his peers and colleagues.

Heath won the Academy Award for best actor that 2008 year (for his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight), and we saw the details of his inner demons and struggles in last year’s documentary I am Heath Ledger.
