Jeremy Renner broke both of his arms… but he’ll be fine for Infinity War
Jeremy Jenner, broke both of his hands while filming his latest movie in Atlanta. The American actor who plays Clint Barton/Hawkeye in MCU, fractured his right elbow and left wrist, while shooting his latest movie Tag, Hollywood Reporter confirmed.
According to the US media outlets, the actor’s injury happened on the set of the New Line comedy Tag which is currently being filmed in Atlanta, along with the latest Marvel Installment, Avengers Infinity War.
Renner while was in attendance of Karlovy Vary Film Festival this week, showed up for press conference (and on the red carpet) in cast and bandages and also shared photos of his medical aid on his social media profiles.
“I’m doing a job [“Tag”] that isn’t really requiring a ton of stunts. It’s not an action movie; it’s a comedy. It just happens to have a few stunts in it. So I don’t have to beat a whole lot of people up or do anything crazy. So it won’t really affect my job….It affects how I get dressed in the morning. I can’t tie my shoes, but outside of that and everything else, I can kind of get by.” About the daily tasks not that he’s recuperating.
“Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” is in production at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. The film opens May 4, 2018, and Renner is expected to make a full recovery for the production of his own scenes. He has not filmed the scenes that feature Hawkeye so far, and since he’s injured is yet to shoot the scenes for the upcoming Mission Impossible 5 movie (in which he is also starring).
