Crime drama series Mindhunter premieres this October. The TV adaptation of Mind Hunter: Inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit book by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas has Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany in the main roles and Anna Torv, Hannah Gross and Cotter Smith in supporting.
Produced by David Fincher, his wife Ceán Chaffin and Academy Award winner Charlize Theron, Mindhunter will be set in 1979 and will revolve around two FBI agents, played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany. The agents interview imprisoned serial killers to try to solve ongoing cases.
Mindhunter is created by Joe Penhall, and the first season (which premieres on 13 October) will feature 10 separate episodes. The series second season was officially approved by Netflix even before the first season started and will air probably in 2018, but for now take a look at the official trailer for the upcoming Mindhunter season 1.
