First look at „Downsizing“ and „All the money in the world“

There are two fantastic movies that are coming to theaters in December, and both of them not only have great director behind them, they all are have first look photos published about them.

The first one is „All the money in the world“ and it’s actually a biographical film inspired by true events. Ridley Scott is helming the movie and it’s about the biographical account of the sustained refusal of J. Paul Getty to cooperate with the extortion demands of a group of kidnappers who had abducted and mutilated his grandson John Paul Getty III.

Two time Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey plays the industrialist J. Paul Getty, while his grandson is played by the 18 year old actor Charlie Plummer. Michelle Williams, Mark Wahlberg and Timothy Hutton are also in the cast.

David Scarpa wrote the scrip for All the money in the world, and it opens on December 8.

The second December release that officially had it’s first photo look published is Downsizing.

Four years after the brilliant Nebraska, the Two time Oscar winner Alexander Payne is back with Downsizing. Written by him and Jim Taylor, Downsizing will have Matt Damon and Kristen Wiig in the lead roles and Christoph Waltz, Alec Baldwin, Laura Dern, Neal Patrick Harris, Jason Sudekis in the supporting roles.

Downsizing, is actually a social satire. A man and his wife think their lives have gotten out of hand and decide to voluntarily have themselves shrunk down. Unfortunately for the man, his wife backs out at the last minute and confusion and mayhem follows.

The film will premiere at the 74th Venice Film Festival on August 30, 2017 and be released by Paramount Pictures in the United States on December 22, 2017.
